If it's old school there's probably nobody on Earth doing it better than Greeks. Welcome to 1980-something and a two-track thrash assault called "Resistant Bangers" with all the falsettos, growls, dive bombs and ferocious solos you missed since... Well, the last Greek retro-thrash band, whichever it was. As the common sense dictates, Endless Recovery released this onslaught on a 7-inch EP which means that you are going to have to dig out your record player - that is, unless you already own one. Sadly, this writer only received an mp3, but listening to it on Winamp using the "classic" skin feels no less righteous. On an actual vinyl, however, we can bet that you could listen to Resistant Bangers even with sound off, just listening to the needle making scary noise while going its way and wondering what the hell would happen if you amplified that noise. And, hell would happen.
Proper riffs, no holding back, never bored, never boring and unashamedly enjoying what they do, Endless Recovery blast through the motions as if the Eighties never ended. Get this one and attack someone with it.
