there are moments of repetition, but these get phased out and replaced with new sounds. the songs are constantly evolving, twisting around themselves into something new. there are elements that don't quite 'work', but these are replaced with something that almost makes the songs and luckily these three tracks are all of a good length.
on first listen you might wonder what the hell is going on. then you begin to interpret what you're hearing. the songs soon present themselves for inspection in an orderly fashion - there are parts i find myself wishing were given longer repetitions and parts i wish were over sooner - you'll probably discover a new sound on each listen or listen out for favourite sounds, only for the song to end and find you missed it along the way.
there are one or two production issues with this; too many clicks for my liking but the three songs are arranged well. this is highly imaginative and can be quite relaxing until an errant sound catches you unaware. the songs are full of layers and sounds; there's hardly a moment left to breathe and absorb all that you hear, but as to what genre to put this in, who cares ? it has drone elements, noise elements, and is experimental - get it and listen to it. you'll either understand the complex nature of it or you won't, and if you don't then you're missing out - it might not be unique but it's good, and it takes a lot of patience to create something like this......
