i AM esper - Things We Never Speak of

this single from i AM esper "things we never speak of" has been composed in his usual style; the gradual introduction of new sounds, notes, phrases in the build up, transition, layers of the song and he does this well but i feel here he might have run out of steam towards the end of the track as the sounds, notes, and phrases run harsher and more distorted and it changes the feel of the song somewhat. but, i guess, this could signify the 'anger' of 'things' not being discussed. that's not to say that this is a bad song, because it's not; it floats you away for 30 minutes, and fans of i AM esper will adore it - maybe it could have been a touch shorter to be more 'concise', 'to the point' or perhaps even longer to explore each phrase properly.

overall this is what you might expect from i AM esper and that's a good thing; his 'soundscapes' are interesting. this is done well with subtle layers - nice, soothing, perhaps a touch too long but a nice listening experience once again...
